TIRANA NEEDS SPACE TO BREATHE

Tirana is growing rapidly. But with this growth, the city is losing trees, gardens, green areas, and open spaces essential to its citizens’ health and quality of life.

Your contribution supports independent awareness campaigns, research, communication, and community actions for a greener and more livable city.

100% of donations received for the Green Tirana campaign will support public awareness, communication, research, documentation, and community engagement to protect green spaces in Tirana, in accordance with the organisation’s objectives.

We believe that development should not come at the expense of nature.

A modern city is not only about concrete, buildings and roads. It also needs trees, parks, biodiversity, public spaces and places where people can breathe, walk, meet and live better.

GREEN TIRANA NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT

With your support, we want to develop a strong and continuous public awareness campaign to protect Tirana’s green spaces.

Your donation will help support:

  • public awareness campaigns;
  • stories, videos and photography about Tirana’s green spaces;
  • research and documentation of trees, parks and urban natural areas;
  • educational materials for citizens and young people;
  • community and neighbourhood activities;
  • public events and initiatives;
  • expertise and communication for a greener and more livable city.

WE DO NOT WANT TO STOP TIRANA FROM DEVELOPING

WE WANT TIRANA TO DEVELOP WITHOUT LOSING ITS GREEN SOUL

Every tree matters.
Every park matters.
Every green space matters.

And every citizen can do something to protect it.
